Blue’s Egg Blueberry Pancakes

Taking a look at these pancakes, you’d think they were delicious. Well shut your sugar-lovin’ mouth because they were delicious! Quite delicious. Quite very delicious. Really quite very delicious. Don’t let the photo deceive you, these pancakes were served on what appeared to be a platter for a 20lb turkey.
You might be thinking to yourself, “Well I love fruit… do they give you enough blueberries?” The answer is yes. They give you an entire freaking bushel… of whatever they grow on.
Flip that pancake over and it’s essentially made entirely of blueberry. With a lemon cream glaze and some powdered sugar? Blue’s Egg did blueberry pancakes justice with this dish.

Sweet Potato and Chorizo Hash

This delicious and colorful dish was so simple to make and really satisfied: chorizo sausage, onions, sweet potato and red pepper. Just let ’em do their thing in the pan and when it’s ready… slap a fried egg on top and enjoy.

Guinness Chocolate Cupcakes

Simmer some butter, brown sugar and cocoa in a pan on the stove and where ever you put it, it’s bound to be good. Adding some Guinness? One step better. This recipe has a surprising secret ingredient that makes for a very unique and delicious cupcake. Top it with some cream cheese frosting and get out.

Maple Pancake Muffins

These maple-flavored muffins (made with brown butter) were delicious. Who knew that adding a couple tablespoons of maple syrup could make something so delicious?
Probably everyone because it’s maple syrup.

Candied Bacon Heaven

I had a long day scheduled and my boyfriend told me he was going to make me a treat… I came home to this plate of magnificence. Thick-cut applewood smoked bacon sprinkled with light brown sugar and then oven-baked… after I took my first bite of this amazing gift to humanity my neurons went crazy and I had to sit down for a while to gather myself.
Best. Boyfriend. Ever.

Protein Pancakes

These are normal, buttermilk pancakes with a little chocolate-flavored protein powder added to the batter. This experiment has become a regular guest at our breakfast table – perfect as a pre-workout meal!

Pancake-Battered French Toast

Made in the same way French toast is usually made, except we soaked the bread in a lighter pancake batter. We had no idea what we were doing… but they turned out pretty awesome. Plus we had a couple of pancakes to spare!
